pharmacy continuing education class

海角直播's McWhorter School of Pharmacy fall continuing education (CE) programs for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are underway.

"We are a trusted continuing education provider for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians within the state," said John Arnold, professor and director of non-degree programs at McWhorter School of Pharmacy. "However, our virtual options enable alumni from across the country to participate, re-engaging with their former professors and peers."

Pharmacists must complete at least 15 CE hours each year. At least three of those hours must be earned in a live format that allows real-time interaction with the presenter.

Coming up on November 2, the  annual Homecoming CE session will be held from 9-11:15 a.m. at the College of Health Sciences. The program is open to the public, and alumni are invited to attend at no charge.

The fall schedule for CE events includes:

  • Sterile Compounding
  • Consultant Pharmacist Program
  • Medication Safety for the Pharmacy Technician
  • Developments and Trends in Health Care Law
  • The Homecoming CE Program
  • New Drug Update

More information can be found at samford.edu/pharmacy/continuing-education. Registration opens a month prior to each event. We encourage you to to be notified when registration is open.
